[Bug] The bars don't display.
The bars are not showing up and I get the fallowing errors.

[Oxygen and Stamina System (And Flashlight Battery)] lua/autorun/client/cl_stamina.lua:10: attempt to index a nil value

I tried changing some settings, but nothing resolves the issue. I also disabled every other addon but this one and it still didn't work. I even uninstalled and reinstalled Gmod, no fix.

It should be fixed now. I think the issue was that I accidentally uploaded the wrong version when I went to push the changes to the bars. If you still have any problems let me know.

I just booted up GMod and I don't have any errors and anything is working fine.
Are:
  • You running the latest version
  • All of the modules enabled
If You need to force the addon to update:
  1. Unsubscribe
  2. Navigate to your gmod addons folder (should be <steam dir>\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\addons\)
  3. Delete oxygen_and_stamina.gma
  4. Resubscribe and reboot GMod

sometimes Steam is really finicky about updating addons

Idk why but the hud isn't showing for me either. I have every addon disabled, and I just downloaded this addon 20 minutes ago. Restarted gmod and everything.

My only idea of what to try is make sure the modules are enabled
Toolmenu => Oxygen & Stamina => Server
You could also try manually installing the addon, which has helped me in the past with addons that wouldn't work:

I really can't think of any reason why they shouldn't show up, especially when it seems to work for some people and not for others, I'll try to see if there could be a cause

Sorry for the late responce, forgot to sub to dis. I've tired to delete the file and reinstall it but...well the odd part is it's not there...I've searched for it and it's simply not there yet during game play it's clearly there. I've also encounter moments when I load up on a map the bar appear and then fade out as if I ticked "hide when full" which I haven't and I have tried unsub and resub but the issues are the same...I don't even know what is happening now.

I'd say another addon was conflicting but you've run the game without them. I would also guess that the oxygen/stamina values aren't going to your client, but if "hide when full" is off then it shouldn't matter. Every theory I have as to why it's not working obviously isn't the issue, and since I don't have a way to recreate it it's much harder for me to debug. I'm pretty much out of ideas at the moment

Tis an enigma. I've tired about everything save the extremes which is just a headache I'm not prepared to deal with. I guess it just doesn't want to work for me.

I had a similar issue with a parkour mod a while back, worked for everyone but me. There is some reason, but I've yet to find it
