Why the ragdoll will not spawn
It's because the model's "ragdoll" sequence is invalid.

Open the model in hlmv, switch sequence to "ragdoll" and it's all blank. It doesn't appear at all until you switch the sequence to "idle" (or whatever it is).

I'd be great if that were fixed, but you said you don't support stuff anymore.

How I fixed it
Decompile the model and another ValveBiped model with a proper "ragdoll" sequence, copy the sequence data from the working model to another model then recompile.
Add to your addons directory and unsubscribe from this broken one.

Do you still have the fixed ragdoll and, if so, could you possibly send a link where I can get it? I don't feel comfortable decompiling and recompiling ragdolls. :/

Had a a look around but I couldn't find it. I switched to a new computer last year, unfortunately, and I'm at a loss as to where I might have put it. Sorry.

Just so you know, I used a tool called "Crowbar" to handle the de/recompiling, but there was a bit of mucking around involved.

One other thing I did find since two years ago, however, is what looks to be the orignal on gamabanana[gamebanana.com]. If memory serves, that one might not be screwed up?

Crap. I hate to ask, but do you think you could redo it? I'll get the program but I've messed up decompiling and recompiling several different times already. I'm just no good at it.

No problem :) If it doesn't work (or you otherwise have problems), I can boot up the old laptop and pull it off.

It spawns but it's invisible. :/
