Hello, I found that when doing instant action games and sometimes custom games, after building the refit, if you try and access the ship build menu the game will automatically crash.

I had my Venators reverted to their older pre-assault model when I loaded back into my saved game which costs a lot to refit them with the numbers of them I have especially since my game bugs out and I have to reload the save data sometimes just from the natural jankiness from EAW modded.
Edit: It only happened once so it was a one off for my fleet.

This is to do with how superlasers interact with EaW, and not something that's likely to be fixable.

When I'm playing the mod, the icon for the refit venator is missing and when reading the description for the venator it shows the text code for it such as, text_unit_var, and, text_tooltip_var_hull. is there any fix to this? I love the mod btw good job man :)

That's very odd. I'd recommend reinstalling the mod, as it sounds like there are files missing.

So when i try to load into a saved game (created with the mod) it crashes.

Did you save during a battle? That will usually cause a save to crash. bear in mind that EaW is not the most stable game, so the issue may not be directly linked to this mod.

not sure if it's just me but my game keeps crashing when trying to load a save

Like I've mentioned before, this is a problem with Empire at War in general, so it would be hard to establish whether it's directly linked to this submod. Always make multiple saves for this reason.

yeah i get that, i don't play much pc yet so not sure what is making it crash so much. i have tried multiple saves and those that worked at first are also crashing now. Do you have any idea what could be causing this?i have tried changing steam properties etc amongst a few other things

By crashing do you mean a crash to desktop? Or a framework crash?

I cant load saves when playing with better venators my game just crashes to desktop

Edit i could load into the slot like 1- 12 times
