OP ship tactic / underpowered reavers
Just thought I should point out that if, when attacked, you store all your troops and fly your brain to the exterior of the ship, all the enemy units will fly into space and die trying to reach you.

Also, I just realized that on the default ship, reavers often try to walk out the back hatch and either fall to their death or suffocate as they try to walk on the top of my ship.

Congratulations, you have find one of the Ninjas tactics!
As an old Ninja that used this one before, I confirm the greatness of this tactic. Really is OP.
Is magnificent to see here a young Ninja sharing knowledge with the clan, so, let me tell you one thing, my friend. "Ship tactic" by Wizened_Dock will be added to the Ninjas Master Book for the good of following generations.

Wait, default ship? So you mean you can aquire and use different ships? If so, how would you do so? I would very much like to try using a different ship

If you go to the shipyard and go into the mission/location menu (above the brain spawn) you go scroll right to use your brain skill points, upgrade your ship, and yes, purchase new ones. They are a bit costly thouh, I found it better to just upgrade the default
