There isn't an option to change settings for just player ragdolls but you can turn down the Gib Spawrate setting to 0 to have no gibs.

ok i guess i should clarify, it doesn't lag from seeing player gibs, it lags from seeing the playermodel after respawning, whether or not it's gibbed. Is there a way to fix this? although i recommend adding a new feature to disable it for players, i'm sure many would find that a useful utility
