You shouldn't- I've had other people test it for me with only G&K, myself included and it's worked fine. Unsubscribe the mod, verify your game cache, and restart Steam after it finishes. Once you've booted it back up, re-subscribe to the mod and it should hopefully download correctly.

OK so it still wont work. Im not sure why as i have done everything you said. and then some...

so i went as far as uninstalling the game entirely and reinstalling it. verifying. opening the game. going to mods then subscribing to arnold mod. enabling it and nothing appears in single or multiplayer set ups.

I can't say what the issue is, apparently new civilization mods for Civ 5 have issues with some people's computers and work fine on others. I'll do some research on this, see if I can find a solution.

Have you found a solution yet? I actuall have all the DLC but this Civiliation mod, as well as any others I have gotten so far, dont seem to work

i got mine to work. just had to try a couple times.
