is there any way to have a researchable that would speed up research and production times? it becomes hard to get much researched, especially when theres so much to produce much less, having something to boost both would be wonderful. (a good one thats sensible would be to put that onto the '1960s '70s, '80s tech and engineering and so on, to progressively speed up both upon their completion)

An emplaced anti-ship missile similar to Para Bellum's would be cool.

Some kind of enhanced missile silos would be neat too, maybe adding "hardened silos" that take larger bombs to destroy.

How about a Bomber Airbase that has like 10 bombers, 8 fighters, an AWACS aircraft, and an EW aircraft (If AWACS and EW are researched).

Abstracted mechanised units, and nuclear mines/artillery as lower tier provocative actions to not provoke a full response, including neuron bombs designed to target these, would be a nice way to instigate conflicts, build nuclear escalation and provide entertainment until all-out nuclear war.

Meh, I was more trying to think of 'escalation levels' as a system to provide early game conflict and tension - people complained there's little to do before nuclear war.
