Any news on this? Would love to change my tile from 'Year-Round' to '40-60 Days' or something like that

I doubt it can be done in a normal way. Too many dynamic calculations based on biomes, temperature, etc.

I still have the earth template, and i was wondering is there a way to replace of a a certain biome (like the deserts and extreme deserts the map uses alot of) with another biome, without replacing all the land biomes on the map?
