Class/Species Overview: Berserker
- There are three specializations for Berserkers. Pulverize is the most straightforward tree, focused entirely on getting the Berserker in the enemy's face and pummeling them. Robust refines the Berserker's toughness. While they won't necessarily be able to tank as many hits as an Andromedon, abilities are included that let the Berserker do more unique things such as pull aggro off of their squadmates or regenerate health. The Terrify tree is about instilling fear in enemies and allies alike; enemies will panic and allies will be motivated to bring their A-game.

- At the Squaddie rank, Berserkers get Devastating Blow, Rage, Grandstand, and Interrupt. They also get access to the same Wallcrasher ability that Andromedons do.

- Berserkers can't wield weapons, which means they don't get any upgrades on that front. Keep this in mind when ranking them up. Their starting damage is considerable, however, and they can acquire melee damage upgrades through improving their armor (+3 damage for Plated, and +6 damage for Powered). They also have no ranged attacks, so be careful about engaging enemies that punish melee like Mutons or Wraith Commandos. They also have restricted gear options, but you can never go wrong with a Plating, a Vest, and a Mind Shield.

- The Berserker can ignore injuries like SPARKs and other robotic units can. Even the Andromedon needs to take time off from injuries since they're a brittle little alien under that fancy mech suit, but Berserkers don't care how beat up they get. They just want blood and nothing else.

- Speaking of having a one-track mind, Berserkers purposely make as much noise as possible pretty much all the time. Just like the Andromedon, moving a Berserker even a single step during a mission will break squad concealment, so consider letting them wait at the start. They also take a long time to infiltrate. Always remember to bring your Berserker to things like Retaliations and Extractions (if you can afford the infiltration for the latter).

there seems to be a problem with paintrain for the berserker, the dash bash does less damage than just bash alone. now that might be on purpose but if so it should probably say that in the description

That's not a feature, it's a bug. I will take a look at it soon.

seems like berserker gets +3 instead of +6 from elerium armor. i dont have any mods that change armor besides lwotc from what i know.

The damage bonus? Will look into it.

Any way to tone down the environmental destruction? Whenever the Berserker moves, it absolutely wrecks anything within a few tiles' distance. It's far too exaggerated.
On another note, environmental destruction is unreliable as it passes through some objects instead of destroying them when I move it to destroy enemy cover (particularly with full cover like pillars).

There's no real way to tone it down. It's either on or off, and it works the same way as it does for Andromedons.
