crash everytime i try to load a save
you have my problem everytime i try to load a save the game crash did someone already encountered this problem ? i can save normally but if i try to continue or to load my game is crashing

now i can load again. I just downgrade some graphics setings like the warning of the post says. I achieved it by trial and error

Ok, after kill the 2 first soldiers, the game crashes after try to load the next map xd :missing::missing::bms_crowbar::bms_headcrab:

FYI: For whoever this helps, I've been able to avoid having the game crash when loading a save by loading MANUAL saves only. Autosave and quicksave will not work. Only manual save

Hmm, I just had autosave work twice, and the game didn't crash. It's possible it's due to optimization and some graphical issues that the latest update messed up, affecting even this beta version. Plus, I have the old interface for Black Mesa itself, so I don't know if that's causing the game to crash.

You're right, because for some reason now none of my saves work. Will keep on working the issue.

it seems like setting black mesa to a branch that's older than the current main branch version of the game fixes it. i set the game to the black-mesa-definitive-edition branch and i am no longer having any problems loading saves at all
