Setup file 'gameinfo.txt' doesn't exist in subdirectory 'asheep'. Check your -game parameter or VCONFIG setting.
If you run 'asteep.bat', the game cannot be played with the error as above. Is there no solution?

How did you install the mod? Did you copy the asheep directory AND the .bat files into your Black Mesa root directory? (Steam/steamapps/common/Black Mesa)

I have this problem too
I instal files into BM directory and set BM public beta, but it does't work

you have the move all files at same without the directory into the bm main folder to make it work...had the same problem before
