Check for conflicting ids first
If you encounter something out of the ordinary be sure to state as detailed as possible what happened and how did it happen because that might help solving this problem

I dont know if this is still being updated or checked but I have tested this out in survival and it works perfectly but when I try and use it in a server the grapple is shot out falls down and puts you in the climbing position whilst next to it but does not allow you to climb up and glitches you if you try. Any ideas why?

sadly you are in minority of those unfortunate where it doesn't properly work in multiplayer and i don't know what could have gone wrong for all of you.

you could reinstall the game and put the server up with only this mod. also try adding mods that you want one by one to see if any of them may caused the problem

i dont know if its conflicting ids from mods as it works fine in singleplayer
