Suggestions for a better mod
I really like this giant slayers mod. It's very fun.

However, I have two suggestions that I think would greatly improve the experience. The biggest problem I think is team killing. Everyone wants to get the kill so they can get big, and I'll end up with team mates running into the middle of my battles and swinging wildly and hitting me in the process. It seems like 90% of my damage is taken from allies standing behind me.

Also once an ally gets big they will end up swinging indiscriminately killing allies as well. I think the way this encourages everyone to fight over the same kills is a problem.

So here are my two suggestions to curb this.

1.) Give players a size bonus for a kill assist. This will reduce the need for everyone to fight over the same kill, and hit team mates in the process.

2.) Give players a size penalty for team kills. This will make players think twice about swinging wildly in a large group of team mates, and it will make careless giants pay more attention to their team mates.

about those people who kill giants who are on the same team as them... And don't stop even though you killed them or the vote failed. Understand that giants will end up killing teammates. It's an inevitability. Sometimes you can't see people carelessly running underneath you.

I like the bonus for assists. Wonderful idea. I just think it should be minimal. maybe, er, 1-5%. But, that would be something that would probably take forever to implement.

But seriously? punishments for tk? that's insane.

I don't think a penalty for team killing is insane. It doesn't have to be something severe. But just enough so that someone who's really abusing the team killing will not be able to stay big.

Besides, as long as they are killing more enemies than allies that should make up for the occasional accidental squished team mate.

crushing a guy by mistake I can deal with, combat is hectic and its all to easy to accedently smack your freind in the face. but people hunting each other for size on the same team should be stopped as much as possible
