(v1.0.4.0) Balance Discussion
Continuing with the theme of revisiting some earlier-tweaked cards based on feedback from players (like you!), this time we've touched up a few bigger ones that I'll discuss here.

Shardtail Queen (Imp Parade)

The biggest pieces of feedback I saw from the earlier rendition here were that it didn't play as nicely with the other paths as core Imp Parade does and that it went too crazy with Ashes of the Fallen/Transcendimp. It was important to maintain the notion of a "floor of Imps with the Queen as the tank", but now that she applies Endless to the first Imp played on her floor it enables a lot of interesting chump-blocking/Imperialist/Rally interactions that previously didn't exist. In practice, this maintains the heavy-killing power that's key to the path and offers more interesting play overall.

Formless Child

This card in core not using the normal Reform terminology present in the game is very bizarre, so I reworked it slightly. The net gain here is +5 max health when it triggers (with a much more clear card text), but more importantly it now prioritizes more useful champions and banner units for its Reform and clears Burnout to open up more interesting synergies with cards like Draff, Burn Bright Rector, and more. The reliability of the card to hit the important units makes it a lot more viable in general, too, which it desperately needed.

Kindle

This card is weird in core in that it has a very weak floor but an absolutely obscene ceiling. It converts -1 cost upgrades into +2 energy each and can take 2, and its synergy with First Hellpact lets it generate energy even when played at 0. It having Permafrost is important to improve its floor, but in order for it to be fair it also needed its ceiling adjusted. Now, at best, it doubles your energy (as expected), but can take only a single -1 cost upgrade and always requires standing energy to derive value.
