My friend couldn't find addons like ragdoll or props on the spawnlist
My friend joined my server and got the addons like PM, Weapons, and tools. But for the props and ragdolls they aren't in the spawnlist (under browse).

Edit: He can search for them but how can he browse it?

This is what our addon do: UWD "Adds a workshop addon for the client to download before entering the server." (https://wiki.facepunch.com/gmod/resource.AddWorkshop). And it's working nicely.

Unfortunately this spawnlist behavior that you're talking about is normal, I don't like it either. The only solution I know is to make your own spawnlists looking for each item.
