For some reasons,

the mod doesn't works when the addon file is renamed and put in:
Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons

but works when subscribed to it:
Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons\workshop

(I make backups of all my favorit mods on my ext-HD, this why I rename the .vpk files)

FIXED: If you backup/save your addons on a separate HD for collection, and to not have a mountain of subscibtions on your steam account:

>Don't rename the .vpk file, keep the steam matricule name, and it will be fin.
