oh boy, if its true thank you so much!
I'm amazed it is actually a thing and you cannot find info about it!
might be a troll because still doesnt work for me
yes, changed to admin actually to test it, fastly build some more power and deeper under the water to test it out but still nothing
You sure you only need water mod?
And it should spawn ice in the collector? (no more additional settings?)
If im being trolled i will be so sad :V
Does something like https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2419631880 work for you? If not, I'm not really sure what to do to help. Might be a bug in the mod?
Haha i dont know what was the issue
After playing with it, i just created new world and it started working properly there
Try this. On the Earth-Like Planet, set the water mod to 1.025. This sets the underground water table to about ~75m below the surface. Drill a well down to the water table, run conveyor tubes down to it, and attach a collector at the end. Viola! The system will bring up all the water (ice) you need.
Be careful though. It stores it in the system as ice, and can quickly fill the whole system with ice.
This method allows all the convenience of the advantages of the water mod, without flooding areas of the planet that are rich in ore.
If you find a way to improve this approach, please let me know.
i just put all my o2/h2 stuff at the bottom of my well and used conveyor sorters to stop ice from clogging all the cargo while still allowing gasses and other items through
(the well is like 500m deep)
As for the well depth, I'm pretty sure it was around 75m. Either way, it works. I'm glad you are enjoying my strategy.
Groovy!
