I agree that would be amazing. As long as there was a way to build subs really strong to resist the pressures. Maybe something that would slowly crush ships that weren't sufficiently armoured or strong. (perhaps armour blocks per block count? The lower you go the more percentage of your ship you need to be armour, heavy armour counting for more?) If there was a way to have it be based on armour thickness that might be even better.

Players get crushed >500m, only way to go deeper is to be inside a pressurized ship.

Ships could start to suffer damages from 1500m of depth.
I think the code for the reentry mod can serve that part of the hull damage dynamism.

I tested it on a small pressurized ship, I just don't get any damage when I'm in the control seat.

Building underwater would be cool. Build, pressurize and move in?? Maybe someday...look forward to this mod..looks awesome and great potential.

Keep in mind the Bismark was fully flooded by its crew , Thus the ship was not crushed like tin can at 5000 m . So if a ship goes down fully flooded then no it would not crush based on that event .

the bismark also had 1/2 half foot thick aromor on the sides and a sturdy inside structure
