am having the same problem

It's because this is an old map mod (last updated in 2020). So expect things not to work correctly. It doesn't show on the mini/ingame map for anyone because the mod creator didn't create the map for it. The ingamemaps mod is done using computer generated image. Basically my guess is that the author created an automated tool to trace all the buildings/roads/etc. and redrawn the map by itself. That's why it's way more detailed than the normal PZ map and as you described "looks crazy". But it's the best we've got for now ;)
