Hmm. So currently a map trap. You can get in, but you can’t get out. Bummer.

Yes, its exactly that ! You can't talk with better words of Alemia ! This map is not a good choice for any kind off cluster or to play in local game cause we change everything on the game. One day, this should be possible, but not actually and its not our priority right now !

The fuel mecanics (of any workbench) is working only if you have "SwitchJobs=False" on your Ini setting.
It is the ini configuration that prevents players from changing jobs.

By default, Alemia is in "SwitchJobs=True."
So if you are one Switch True, you don't need any fuel for your workbench.

My friend and I were trying to play via LAN and when we spawned in, we couldnt touch most things. Half the rocks wouldnt let us hit them, and none of the trees no matter where we spawned. when we decided to just run around and explore to see if we were just in an unfinished area, we randomly suffocated, but didnt die just went unconscious despite not being torpored.

If you could not harvest anything even bushes, it seems like if the mod was not loaded and not in first position, have you seen any dino either ?


Yes some area requires protection to be able to walk/live in :)

Is already known that some textures are missing? (maybe just a singleplayer bug?)
I have already downloaded the map and mod a 2nd time, the mod is in 1st place.
I use other mods, but they shouldn't affect textures.

Also i wanted to ask, whether the job system has been reworked in the meantime so that the player only gets the recipe for the workbench? I have just seen in a video that a player had 2 recipes in the inventory. (But the video is about a year old.)

For the texture, its a single player bug. Texture are used in the map but are in the mod. And ARK single player can't handle that.

And yes, we made a rework of the Job system and almost all video are not up to date

OK good to know. It's funny and interesting that some textures are recognized and others are not.
Does this apply to icons too? The Elderberry also has no item picture.

So there are no more job runes then?

Yes, the runes have been removed :) It was not a good mechanic, we found a better solution.
For the elderberry, I don't know, normally not.

Hello! I was unable to install Alemia Map on a dedicated server using Ark Server Manager. I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this issue, but I thought I'd report on it. Working on a workaround at the moment.

Ark Server Manager reports failure to install Alemia Map (2183735564). Alemia Mod appears to install without problems.

From ASM:

Attempted manual download using SteamCMD:

From steamcmd:

This uses the AppID for ARK Dedicated Server (376030)

HOWEVER... Changing the AppID to ARK client ID (346110) appears to allow the download.
