It might be cool to include in this mod proxy wars and spheres of influence? Like spheres of influences maybe related to prestige and proxy wars (think about Ethopia, Ukraine or Iraq or Afghanistan, or what Saudi Arabia and Iran do in Yemen, or what Iran does with Hezbollah). So that you can gain territory / influence / economical stuff / resourges without actually fighting with your own soldiers but simply in a certain extend supporting (economical or millitary (knowledge/material)) the regimes / fractions you want to be in power? It maybe gives a new elan to this? :) Kind regards!
