for (Group) restriction not working
I set my MedPods for use of colonists only. But slaves also wander there or are carried there and have all their injuries/ailments removed. It also does it the other way around. If all MedPods are set to for slaves only, regular colonists will also be carried to those MedPods and receive treatment.

Only if I set them to for prisoner is when neither of the colonists or slaves use them.

How can i stop this?

I'm not familiar with slave / colonist group restrictions, and I don't think I've currently programmed MedPods to make the distinction.

Which DLC/mod do slaves come from?

I just bought Rimworld with all the dlc at once, so I'm not exactly sure. But I think they added them properly with Ideology.


This is what the wiki says:
Slavery in base game RimWorld is limited only to selling prisoners for profit, with no other use. The Ideology DLC significantly expands on the concept, allowing prisoners to be enslaved and forced to work and perform tasks.

I'll look into this when I have time later this week, but as getting the 1.4-compatible update out is my main priority, I can't promise anything.

Restricting MedPods by owner type (colonist, slave, prisoner) has now been added in the v1.5.0 mod update.

I did some testing and it does seem to be working for the 1.4 test version. Unfortunately, my current 1.3 savefile will not work with the new changes just like the patch notes mentioned. And going to 1.4 with that old save breaks the game as the other mods aren't updated yet (or may never be).

But I guess there is something to look forward to in my next run. Thank you for your time.
