2. The main reason I categorized the weapons to these slots is similar to the above one - I wanted to show exactly which weapons are primaries, secondaries and "special". I'll consider changing it to be similar to HL2's weapons, to an extent.
3. If you mean the Akimbo attachment, then most likely not. The main reason for that is that I am almost soloing this project and I cannot script it on my own, and since most people frown upon CW2, I'll surely not get any help from willing participants (please do prove me wrong though). So no, as of the time of this response, no Akimbo is planned.

6. That's a base feature, but I am unsure if NPC's will ever support CW2 weapons. I will most likely not look into it either.

I did consider adding the Marine and Winter camouflage options alongside the cut MK12 SPR, but decided not to. If enough interest is shown, I could add the camos at the very least.

The reason for that is that the underbarrel shotgun uses generic HL2 Shotgun ammunition. You can spawn it in the Spawnmenu in Entities > Half-Life 2.
