UPDATE 1.3: Don't be curvy
This is a bugfix update aimed at reverting new bugs the developer introduced in the Lab update.

Bug fixes:
+ Fixed ice being invisible
+ Fixed flickering illumination in caves
+ Fixed camera clipping through the walls in caves

No easy fix unfortunately. I contacted the developers, and it will take some time, I hope they'll get back to me soon.
