Suggestions to polish wording of certain cards
Hello, I have some unsolicited feedback: every dev's favorite flavor of feedback. I feel like because this mod is so good that it's easier to look at the imperfections and think it could be that much more polished. To that end, I have some suggestions to make the wording more consistent with the base game.

  1. Maintenance could read: "Increase Strike damage by 4. Gain 1 Dexterity." The verb "increase" falls in line with a couple other cards, notably Ironclad's Rampage.
  2. Body Armor's sentence order could be swapped: "Gain 8 Block. Discard a card. If it was a Skill, gain 8 more Block." This is meant to coincide with the order of a few Silent cards where Block is often the first mention.
  3. For the cards From Beyond and Reprieve, Exhaust should be capitalized as it is for other cards. Watcher's Omniscence card does forget to capitalize it, so eh whatever.
  4. Low Profile: second sentence should read "Gain" instead of "Gains", I don't think there's any example of the latter in a vanilla card.
  5. Eternal Form: Change second sentence to "At the start of your turn, gain no (energy symbol)." if card space allows?
  6. Dead or Alive: This one is more nitpicky, but I feel like "get" could be changed to "obtain" or "earn" depending on what the card space allows.
  7. Luck of the Draw: Also more nitpicky, but I feel like it could do without repeating the word "draw"? Maybe something like "Draw until you have a number of cards equal to 4 (energy symbol)."

1. Can't do, text length on current maintenance won't allow it, plus it's consistent with the wording on Corruption. (Skills cost 0 this combat/Strikes deal N more damage.)
2. Agreed.
3. No longer relevant for Reprieve and not true for From Beyond (See: Exhume.)
4. See: Perfected Strike.
5. It was worded to remain within 5 lines of text, not relevant anymore since the change.
6. Obtain would probably be the best choice, going off Alchemize.
7. That's a very vague wording (Do cards you already 'have' in your hand count? Does this mean I have to have a number of cards equal to the number of energy symbols, aka 4 cards? What if I have more and thus the number is not equal?).

Ah, hmmm. I tried to make sure I was looking at Downfall cards for the most recent balance changes. Have some cards like Reprieve been changed for a new update? Either way, thanks for humoring me.
