how to open neon smoke
open sfm then go to file, then press open and then go to steamapps\common\SourceFilmmaker\game\workshop\elements\sessions and open neon smoke - workshop session.dmx

from *uzi* "For those that has this type of problem (Not seeing the files) it seems that this isn't your end problem but rather steam and SFM not sync in some cases. Usually fix it by cleaning cache" "dont forget to remove -nosteam from your launch command. That cause SFM to not check for any steam relating tools"
note this is a session file not a map

im at the file location in the sfm partical editor i clicked the sessions folder where the smoke should be and its empty but if i open the file button i see but i cannot open it in sfm
is there a fix?

but you dont have to open model or load map your have to open the dmx file i dont know how to explain

have you ever download it? first this is a session file not a map or model

For those that has this type of problem (Not seeing the files) it seems that this isn't your end problem but rather steam and SFM not sync in some cases. Usually fix it by doing funny cache stuff but yeah sometimes it just does not work at all. I have tried multiples guides but it seems that it could also be on my end too. But hey atleast it works on my Window 11 laptop (But not a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ window 10 PC somehow) :r6target:

Oh and one thing, dont forget to remove -nosteam from your launch command. That cause SFM to not check for any steam relating tools, it is like checksum in Ready Or Not.

Sorry to bring back this discussion back from the dead, but i've tried these steps and jack squat appears for me.
I'd appriciate any help or someone to send me the DMX file itself, because i've attempted to re-install it and try to download it using a workshop downloader which it didnt work.
I only have one drive, and that is my :C drive.
