You should check this old script out, and try to see if you can get some good use out of it. I believe you can use this script in a very interesting way for other factions in your Fire & Sword mod. :)
The other reported issue, that the Sassanids are too strong, I cannot confirm, I have to watch it further on. In my campaign they have a brutal 2 front war against Turks and Muslims (turn 65) and they are loosing.
The AI Byzantines are too weak. When I started they played very strong until I changed the Khalifates´ AI settings. However, as a result the real players can play very demanding campaigns, when playing Sassanids or Byzantines.
However when I go to your mod page and hit "Subscribe," nothing changes. My game still runs as normal. I looked up a youtube tutorial on how to install mods with steam and it basically just said to hit "Subscribe" and then the download process should commence. Nothing happens when I do it except it turns green and is checked off.
The game itself has very little info when I look at it in my library it just says Attila and "non-steam game" pretty much.
The downloaded mods are in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\325610
The number is my workshop ID for Attila.
There you can check if the download have worked.
