Paths in the xml are sloppy, this makes things like textures not load on the linux client.

Want me to fix it for you?

I would really appreciate it, since i don't know the differences between the linux and windows client, is this problem exclusive to the second volume of the creature pack or does it also manifest on the first? Thanks

Both have the same issue. In the mod there are a mixing of unix paths (case sensitive, '/' dir separator) and windows paths (case insensitive, '\' dir separator)

For the mod to work across platforms in this dotnet setting, the paths should be the first of the two.

The issue is a bit ironic, becuase I think if I ran the windows client in wine, I would have no problems, only the native client has trouble with your mod.

I wrote a python script that scans and corrects the tags. I'll send the results in a private chat, I have other questions as well, some files seem to be corrupt.

for some reason this one is having issues with multyplayer after this latest update, my friends who had installed the mod prior to this update managed to join the lobby, the others who did a fresh download were getting an error that claimed they were missing the content pack despite having it enabled
Same problem as HUE
Seems like there's discrepancies in the workshop servers at the moment. Me and a friend did a DIFF test between the server and the client mod and it seems like the updates just haven't propagated through yet. A short-term solution is to upload the mod from the server and have everyone download it, ignoring the workshop addon.

This could be entirely the game's fault, but sometimes when we pick a mission, like "Investigate a bigger derelict", people sometimes instead see "Terminate a Threser swarm" or something else, there seems to be some desync along the clients.

when you break the boss moloch's shell his model has a veeeery thin white line around him i took a screenshot of it, very minimal stuff but tought id point out

Thanks HUE, it's a simple thing to fix so its no problem, sorry for the late response Grim_2o0o, from what you described it's most likely the game's fault, I assume you're playing multiplayer campaign, so as long as the mission the campaign master sees is the one that actually plays out it shouldn't be a problem

I did a round of testing with the charybdis and found a few issues:

its hitboxes seem to be a bit off as it saw it push the sub to the right side constantly witouth even properly touching its hull

closing and opening its jaw in what i assume to be a chomping attack, damaging hull parts of the sub on parts it's mouth was clearly not reaching

it seems to struggle when attacking the sub if it the charybdis is ontop of it, usually it just floats there witouth doing nothing, or takes a long time to properly act agressive, usually hapens when its mouth is not in range of the hull but the scythe claws it has are pretty much touching the sub and it does not attack with them

*EDIT*

Another thing i just noticed, sometimes it seems to ge pushed away from the sub when it tries charging towards it, happens from both downwards and upwards

Thanks, I'll look into it, if it's claws are touching the hull it usually means it has grabbed the sub, and it's doesn't attack while doing so, but when it deattaches it will heavily damage the part it grabbed
