Auxiliary Slot AWOL
I'm going to preface this by saying my mod list is... pretty extensive, so there's a non-zero chance that another mod is messing with things. That being said, I don't see any actual evidence of that being the case, so...

I can't seem to equip things to the Auxiliary slot on SPARKS or MEC I've built. Actually, I'm not sure any of the slots I'm seeing are the Auxiliary (Just for reference, I've got Armor, Primary & Secondary Weapon, Pistol, and Utility).

I'm hoping there's just something I'm forgetting to do, or didn't realise I need to build, but I can't find anything that looks like it fits the bill (and yes; I've done the Transformation Gears project in the Proving Grounds, if that matters, as I assume it does).

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!



Immediate update; I found that when equipping a BIT to the SPARK's Secondary Weapon slot, another slot labeled Heavy Weapon appears.

The only things that show up when I click on this new slot are "Shredder Gun," "High Pressure Tanks," and "Extra Rocket," all of which are labeled UNAVAILABLE in red, and none of which can be equipped.

What's your Highlander version? You can see it in the lower right corner of the main menu when you start the game. This mod requires version 1.21.
Ammo and Vest Slots mod also breaks the auxiliary slot (and all other mod-added slots).

I'll have to check the Highlander version in a bit (at work atm), but if it helps, I'm using a version that comes packaged with Long War of the Chosen. Apparently that mod needs some kind of special Highlander to work, but that special Highlander has been working just fine as a replacement for the other one in all my other mods.

The ammo and vest slots thing sounds like it might be the culprit. I'm using "WotC Vest Slot," which, well, adds a vest slot to normal soldiers (link below). I assume this is likely the thing screwing stuff up.

I'll try removing that mod when I get off work, and let you know if that changes anything.

It works fine with WOTC Vest Slot.
The Ammo and Vest Slots mod is the only one that causes issues.
LWOTC uses its own version of Highlander, which does not contain the things necessary for my mod to add the Auxiliary Weapon slot.
Go to Mod Compatibility discussion for instructions on making config edits which will make the Auxiliary Slot show up even with LWOTC's Highlander.
