One suggestion would be creating something like pudge hook in dota, where you can target a point and there would be a hook that drags anything close to the targetted point to the caster. Think that would be really cool

make a net that also blinds the person for a day after they get hit with it

Net motar that shoots nets so heavy that they hurt the target and downs it

Net Turrets for support during a raid or as automatic prison revolt guard

Neolithic/primitive level net gun equivalent, maybe a one-use item to balance it against the gun

Maybe add a sliders in mod options to customize debuffs
