when i try to use a custom job it just makes me a capitan

Hello LeDoux, do I need to host a server for this mod to work or I can use it in single player campaign too. I want to play singleplayer without hosting and spawn as a security from the start but the game restricts me to captain, electrician and mechanic.

Yes you need to host a server for the mod effect to work as in singleplayer you are still forced to use the 3 default class

You know what, i just deployed an update allowing you to spawn in singleplayer with one of each classes :)
