Need better Hide rates
Ok love the tons of meat from dinos but either way up the hide too or really lower requirements for items. ie baby philo gave me 4 hide, 15 prime meat and nearly 83 raw meat.

Use a sword to harvest hide. You get much better rates.

harvested over 200 dinos in SP of all sizes from dodos to t-rexes never once saw a single hide. Yes I tried a phiomia like OP. If I can't get hide I can't use this mod

Hide rates are based off your crafting skill. So you need to improve your crafting skill to get more hide. The formula is (Dino HP / 15 * crafting skill) ex. 1000hp / 15 = 66 hide. times 0.1 crafting (what you start at) = 6 hide.
If you have 100% crafting then you would get 66 hide from that animal. If you have 200% crafting skill then you would get 132 hide from that same animal.

@BluePittGames you do not collect hide with weapons on The Hunted, you have to walk up to the corpse and hold "E" and you will see a radial menu pop up, hover your mouse over the 'skin' option (similar to when you want to demolish a building). The amount of time it takes is also based off your crafting skill, so if you have only 10% crafting it could take several minutes to be able to skin something depending on how much HP is had.
