Issues taming mammals
I was able to tame a doed baby with no issues since they don't seem to flee. When it comes to other mammal babies its a different story. I've been trying to tame a saber for some time now. I have a full set of ghillie and when I crouch and sneak up behind it, about 10-20ft away it just runs. I even tried shooting prime bait near it with the other taming mod that was suggested but it ignored this.

Sabers are exceptionally hard to sneak up on. Your best bet is to trap one in a pen, sneak in and feed it. This will usually cause it to spook. Then you have to leave the area so it will de-spook and then repeat. It's not easy. I was only able to get mine half-way tamed and then I had to log off and it despawned :(
