only seem to hatch female??
tried hatching 6 dodos, and 2 pegos, and every single one of those were female. is it possible to hatch males, or do I just have odd luck?? I'll keep trying an see what happens

That bug has already been reported on the Discord for The Hunted [discord.gg]. It seems related to the Gen2-Release and can't be fixed until the DevKit gets an Update.

I managed to get a male Iguanodon from an egg. so it seems it's possible, but rare

Yeah, same here, and we are almost a year later, and it is still an issue.
Is there still any support on this mod for bug fixes?

It seems like the best solution is to play this with another mod like the potion one which allows gender changes or immersive taming which will allow you to tame a male.

There is a new patch, the 4.3 since the 28th may of 2022 and one of the changes is:
"Fixed wild fertilized eggs only hatching females" 😉
