Custom Gacha

Wild gacha's do not have custom loot
So wildcard recently broke gacha crystals and then patched a quick hotfix and i feel like this may have changed something causing the mod to not work correctly, i've just spent the last 2 hours taming gacha's with over 70 in cryopods to the point i can't even see anymore wild gacha's and i can 100% confirm these are not vanilla as my transmitter plus shows that they are modded as well as the "getallstate" command. wild ones will only have vanilla loot tables but forced spawned gachas seem to be working for the most part except for the common loot table that seems to not be working.

So that's 70 tamed gacha's not a single one of them has custom loot but after just 10-15 force spawned gacha's i have at least 5-7 with custom loot.

So a little update.. it seems this is fixed by cryo'ing them as almost every gacha i had cryopodded has different loot than what i had initially seen after taming them, still though my common loot table isn't working or maybe it's just the items that isn't working in there? in my uncommon loot i have cactus sap that i haven't managed to find yet even by force spawning them so this may need more testing.

The resources are added to the default list, so if you add 1 to the common list you're actually like a 1/10 chance to get that new resource.

Spawning naturally vs summon/force tame, all seems fine to me. On dedi and singleplayer And cryoing them results in the same resources as when they're tamed.

As for stranger items, ie valentines candy, no idea if it works. Never tried.

I think it's a bit odd still, 70 tamed gacha's and 30-50ish force spawns and i didn't get any of the items on the common list but i got heaps of the uncommon and rare, about the cryo though i checked every single gacha i tamed for resources and even named them accordingly at first and when i uncryo'd the resources were completely different which also resulted in the custom loot appearing as it should be as well, the resources at tame are vanilla resources that are later changed after an upload or cryo.

Items have to count as a generic resource which unfortunately, is not rare flowers/mushrooms. It's really sort of arbitrary, but yeah, no luck with that. Also means most edibles will not count either.

The resources are set when the dino is created. It's just a display bug, otherwise repeated cryoing would result in new resource rolls every time.

Yeah i thought as much, just thought those resources would work though considering it was on the example config.

This is what i was trying to get at, it was a visual bug and doesn't display correctly, i just find it weird that naturally spawning gachas have this bug but if you use an admin command to spawn one in the visual bug isn't there.

I haven't seen it happen, but honestly, I kind of hate gachas. Easy, endless resources, tons of loot. Makes the game too easy. I don't even have them spawn.

When I get a minute I'll see if I can replicate this bug and give er a fix.

No worries and thanks for looking into this, there is just one other bug i have found though not sure if it's fixable and it's only a very minor issue but if you use the OvercrowdingRange config option the game seems to ignore it upon a client restart and the gacha's become sad until you cryo one of them and let it back out again.
