How to increase your Physgun's speed to match Spy's.
Anyone else notice that SpyCakes' physgun in his Gmod videos is a little bit faster when he throws stuff than the normal physgun? I did.

I found somewhere of a command called physgun_wheelspeed. It is normally set to 10.0 by default. If you increase it, it makes things move farther and closer when using your mouse wheel on objects. I'm guessing that if this is the way Spy increased his, he has his set to around 20-50 speed.

This is a way to make your physgun go faster when using your mouse wheel to move things. Hope this helped!

Unless there's an addon for something similar to this, it is the closest thing I could find to making it like Spy's.

For those with a gaming mouse like ReDragon Cobra, you can just increase its scrollspeed and it does the job just as good. :waving:
Edit: Turns out it's actually "physgun_scrollspeed"

Oh, thanks a lot! You know more about these things than me!

I did kind of rush this and it doesn't make full sense. I also accidentally put the wrong command there! I just updated it now though, I'll check physgun_scrollspeed just to make sure and probably update the command once more.

I also never knew that some mouses let you increase their mouse wheel scroll speed! Looks like I learned something new! Again, thanks! :steamhappy:

Turns out it actually is wheelspeed not scrollspeed :ccskull: that's my bad.
