You select the unit you want the gold to go to, then type give gold xxxx then press the enter on the right where xxxx represents the amount you want to give.

Two ways:

1) Just "give gold" and click the button to the right of the box. This gives a flat 50,000.

2) As Haste mentioned, type "give gold xxxxx" for the exact amount you want then click the button to the right of the box.

I know you've probably got this figured out by now, posting this for people looking in the future.

When you click on "Chat" in the upper left of the screen it will bring up the Chat screen overlay.

There are normally two boxes: A) A big box for the chat; B) a smaller box under it to enter things into the chat.

What you want is the new, 3rd box. It's the bottom of the 3, and is the exact same in size and shape as the normal box to enter things for the chat. That is where you want to enter the console commands. The 2nd box would just put you in the chat just like normal.

FYI - the mod's thumbnail/screenshot on the main mod page shows it. It is outlined in red. click on the image and it's more clear.
