By config tab do you mean the tab under Simfphys Server & Client settings? I know that was recently added. There should be a drawspheres toggle at the top as well as TR: spheres renderer initializated in console.
Trailers should autoconnect by default anyways but I noticed that if trailers are struggling to reach the position they should be in, they wont connect but instead kinda pull toward each other anyways. Try doing "trailers_connect" in console once the trailers look like they should connect.

i hope it would help :D
Also, not excatly an emergency, but the TDM single axle box trailer don't have the connect sphere on the back, making it impossible to build doubles.
le me check
It seems like thesphere on the back of the single axle trailer is way too close to the hitbox, but that could be fixed just by raising the value of the detection radius. But still.
Also, not so important but i would reccomend lowering the single axle's king pin (pin that goes trough the truck's fifth wheel (Truck's hitch)) sphere, because it makes the trailer front way too high.
Other than that, nice work porting the trailers and re-making the add-on altogether! It would be great if you ported SGM's Peterbilt 379 + more and it's trailers as well.
SGM Peterbilt 379 is here https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1456702474
(crap, i missed 1 char and it become Metro screenshot lol)
i fixed deprecated support, it should work
i want to port sligwolf's truck, LW trucks and more, but it's for future...
