VER 0.00.03 DEV NOTES:
So, after much tweaking and trying to emulate the MW2 lighting as best as possible, I think I've finally settled on the lighting that I like. And, at least for now, it will stay. However, it does present a problem. The map now requires HL2 Episode 1 as well....so, that's fun!

MISC. DEV NOTES:
With the most recent update, 0.00.03, they may come a bit slower as I am attempting to add numerous things for the next update before showing it off. It may be a day or two worth of a wait, but I'm sure it'll be worth it ;).

VER 0.00.04 DEV UPDATE "OSCAR MIKE" (We're on the move):
What's poppin' people?! I'm very happy to finally show my slow and not very full progress, but for now it gives a more open space to mess around in! Once it's better, I'll release another version and once it has about as much detail as the Shooting Course, I'll begin adding more details on both of them. I hope you guys are enjoying the map!

VER 0.00.05 DEV UPDATE "ALFA":
I now have actually details in the upper portion of the map! It isn't great, and definitely not to scale, but intend to fix it in the long run! Right now, I'm focusing on actually getting the map ready for more details to be added! Thanks for following me so far! I hope you enjoy the updates! And don't forget to comment your suggestions as well as rate the map so it gets more possible attention so more people can see this love project of mine!

Okay, so, I'm currently am at a stand-stil las to what I want to do with the map. I don't mean if I want to continue it or not, but what to add and what to change. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, remember to comment them!

With this update, I added numerous little details and made some small tweaks to a few things. I also ended up changing the skybox and the light_env options because I wasn't a big fan of the other one. I also added the hanger to the out-of-bounds area finally, as well as a few cars. Hopefully everyone is enjoying the map so far as it seems the number of Unique Visitors and Subscribers has efficiently doubled. Nonetheless, thanks for playing the map and don't forget to rate it if you enjoyed!

VER 0.00.07 UPDATE NOTES:
So, with VER 0.00.07 I decided to use this version to add much more details for each section with each .0#. The first of these updates, which I titled OPERATION: DETAIL, is the AIM Update. The AIM update does as it sounds! It adds moving targets, finally! I thought of a way to do it while listening to the Cars OST of all things. If I make the targets func_doors, I can put them under the ground and make them pop up with a sound after hitting a trigger. I have placed triggers in places that are almost one-to-one with their places in MW2. Now, I'm sure this mods followers are interested in the updates to come, so here is a small roadmap.

"OPERATION: DETAIL" ROADMAP:
  • More Details Added to the Hanger NPA (non-playable area)
  • More Details Added to the NPA near the Firing Range
  • Expanded Firing Range (More To-Scale with MW2)
  • More Details Added to the Skybox + Fixed Skybox
  • Numerous Other Things I Haven't Thought of Yet

MISC. DEV UPDATE:
I asked around on the official GMOD discord server for any suggestions, and the first one that I got was to use the base HL2 assets as I had intended rather than anything mountable. SO! Welcome to the UNMOUNTED update! Nothing other than the base HL2 assets are required!

VER 0.00.07.4 UPDATE NOTES:
I don't believe I did any updates for .1 and .2 of the .07 update; nevertheless, here are the comments on .3 and .4!

"Operation: Detail" Update #4 (Technically 3) - The R&D (Remapped and Detailed) and [71 77 65 78] Updates!
I think the these two updates are the biggest so far besides when I began working on things outside of the Pit back in the OSCAR MIKE update. A LOT of things have changed since the last version, primarily the updated models in the Pit and Firing Range for the weapon casings. With the removal of CS:S and HL2:EP2 during the last MISC update, I lost a lot of flexibility with props I otherwise needed. However, at the expense of those props, I made the map more easily accessible to those without any mounted games. With update 0.00.07.3, the Skybox has also been completely redone. Portions of it are still clipping the map and there isn't much detail as of yet, but that will come in later updates.

AS for the [71 77 65 78] update, I decided to use a thing I have been doing with each update to add an easter egg of sorts. Noclip will break it, so find it without cheating! If you do, make sure to comment that you have found the easter egg! The first person to do so will get some sort of prize, not sure what yet. Probably just a small custom addition to the map or something of the sort.

For all the details on Update #4, check the Update Logs! I always keep those updated with the newest additions to the map!

VER 0.00.07.5 UPDATE NOTES:
So, we finally made it to the final update of "OPERATION: Detail"! With the expansion of the F.R last update, I used to to make it much better than it was before! Now, it has a watermelon! Make sure to knife it! A lot of clutter was added around the map in the same place as it was in the base game, or at least as close as I could get it. I have intentions of still updating the clutter and detail in future updates, but I will be considering VER 0.01.00 to be the "v1" of the map! In essence, it will be the *final* version (in heavy quotes.) I guess now is the time to say it, the map now has 2 GMAN "easter eggs" of sorts. I decided to add them due to my "Removed GMAN" sign I post at the end of each update. So, I hope you all enjoy the update. Remember the favorite and rate the map if you enjoyed, or want to see more from it. I have more in store for the future, so hopefully you all enjoy it!

THE VERSION 1.0 UPDATE NOTES:
I'm sure those who have been watching this mod are curious why I skipped from 0.7.5 to 1.0.0. Well, I simply feel there isn't much I can do more for this map that isn't minor tweaks. I am so happy to see where this map has gotten, and I hope you are too. If you enjoy it, make sure to rate it to get it noticed by more people. If you have any suggestions, make sure to comment it. For now, though, it seems only minor updates and tweaks are to come (unless I want to alter something majorly).
