I never really like giving too many customization options for turning things on or off, primarily because I do put quite a bit of effort into making things balanced, and I don't like it when mods (mine or anyone else's) make the game too easy, or just provide a single clearly better option. That said, I can see where turning paths for animals off completely might be a good option.
Oh for the record, I actually prefer just having these discussions in the main thread, I tend to lose track of these separate pages - I already have too many mod pages to keep track of as it is ;). I'll subscribe to this one though, let's keep it here.
1. [option slider] How easy is it for a path to form?
2. [option slider] How quickly do paths disappear?
3. [yes/no checkbox] Should animals make paths?
Done.
I think paths should automatically spread the way you have them optionally do that- it looks very natural and is reasonable.
All the other options go away.
I *really* like this mod and would like to see it work out as a trail blazing idea.
See what I did there?
Thanks very much for listening and thinking about this.
