A wierd error
I am currently using BMCE and all the Staff/Chapter Overhauls that are listed on the page.

Whenever I load the game, it says "Engine Error; CModelLoader::FindModel: NULL name"
All I have subscribed to on the Black Mesa workshop is BMCE, the Staff/Chapter Overhauls, and Gman Revoiced.

Does anyone know what's wrong? I am using the chunked version of the BMCE.

UPDATE: I just wanted to say that after reinstalling the game, it still went funky. Maybe getting rid of all workshop files and anything related to the game files might work, but it's kind of annoying to do that...

Another Edit: I am supprised by how many people are getting help by this thread, and I thank you all for checking it out.

Update: I tried the non-chunked version,and I still get the CModelLoader error as described above in CamKablam's post.

Further update: I have deleted the custom folder entirely and *still* the game will not launch because of this error. Somehow, this mod has corrupted all of my game files.

if you're getting error "Engine Error; CModelLoader::FindModel: NULL name" then your saves with mod are ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up.

Go to bms/save and delete all your saves and you'll be okay.

BUT! Steam cloud can upload these saves again which will cause same error.

So to fix that you:
1) remove saves
2) click "launch black mesa" and then shut it down before it launched
3) remove reuploaded saves from cloud in bms/save
4) launch game normally

It wouldn't do that if I made a new save though...

The mod is out of date, dont use it until its updated for 1.5

EVERYONE WITH THIS ISSUE: i figured out the problem, when you load BMS, whatever save is displayed on your screen (for instance, you last saved a game in Chapter 2, it would show the entry desk to sector C with the guard and scientist that tell you to go down as your late) unsub from the chapter overhaul related to the chapter you saved in and it should fix the error, as rn im fairly sure this pack is fairly outdated, and only 1 or 2 chapters are fully built for 1.5

for me when i have this downloded the locker doors are just a pure black

I tend to get this A.I Disabled Error as well as Node Graph out of date.
