Thanks for your feedback on Land Battleship.
I don't want to add rules that take away player freedom. So I think this issue would be better served by weakening the performance and cost of Land Battleship.
And as for the second supply bonus issue, that was not our intent. With that in mind, I think Land Battleship will be weakened in the future.
Regardless you should probably make project RX easier to access. I only got the zeon revealed mobile suit 1 year after the war had started when I was cleaning up the 3rd zeon drop site in the USA. The fact that a required tech for project RX: transfer of command is in the mobile warfare tech tree, and not the superior firepower tree which starts with 3 free techs for the feds also threw me for a loop. I didn’t discover that until my mop up in the USA. I had thought that the land doctrines were mostly ok with proper bonuses to mobile suits, but such an important tech locked in mobile warfare kind of railroads the player.
Regarding project RX, the conditions under which revealed mobilesuit happens depend on Zeon's actions. If you act close to historical events, this event will occur in 77 or 78.
The doctrine issue is important. The Federation had adopted a prehistoric doctrine, and in my opinion they would have to pay a price to run project RX without the occurrence of a revealed mobilesuit.
But I'm not convinced about the terms of getting project RX, either. I would like to change it to something better.
