You also will want to start the server once without launching the mod, so the server downloads the mod.
You can regenerate either a portion of the config file or the whole file itself. For both, make sure you have closed the game completely before proceeding.
For the first option, simply delete the entire config section [ZedternalReborn.Config_EquipmentUpgrade] and the MODEVERSION underneath it. That includes deleting the title [ZedternalReborn.Config_EquipmentUpgrade].
For the second option, you can instead delete the entire KFZedternalReborn_Upgrades.ini config file.
After you delete the necessary part(s), relaunch Killing Floor 2 and then launch into a singleplayer match of Zedternal Reborn. This should regenerate the code with known working defaults.
As a final note, if you have information you want to save just copy the modified config file(s) to another location on your PC before proceeding.
