Mods to add
I have added compatibility to many mods (see list in description), but if there are any other popular mods I left out, please inform me here. Please link to the mod. Please ensure that it is 2.6 compatible (do not want to work on mods that are obsolete and/or abandoned). Thanks!

Ethics and Civics Alternative would take some work to make compatible but would be cool as I don't think there is any human appearance change mods compatible with it

Precursor Story Pack has an event chain where at the end your country can change into a hive mind.

Storywise it says that you country was a hive mind all along without realising it and that free will is an illusion for your species.

After changing into a hive mind the event gives you a special civic (civic_pspmod_possessive_consciousness_hive) that can not be removed. The civic's description states that the hive mind imitates sentient life forms with individual identities. Therefore I think it would make sense for countries with this civic to have regular clothes and hair.

Is there an option wherein the rulers could be from one phenotype only? I'm trying to make a galactic Japanese Empire.
