Crashes when starting new game with this mod installed.
I've seen several people mention that the game crashes when starting a new game. I'm curious if this is with any class, any of the Fionna classes, or just with the Adventurer class.

I have a theory that not having all the skills defined for the Adventurer class could cause problems.

That's odd. Do you have any other mods installed? Mac or PC? what kind of video card?

i have other mods installed but I disabled them all to test this one on my PC

Ok. I just posted a new version. I've heard that having an incomplete skill tree could cause the issue. So I'm hoping this fix takes care of it.

I thought of something, and went and deleted the mod from my mods folder and ran the game again. It now works. I guess the game didn't update the mod for some reason.

Edit: Although, if I run any other mod with it it still crashes.

Edit edit: Actually, it still seems to crash most of the time when trying to make a new character regardless of if it's the only mod loaded or not. I'll try to just get past the creation stage and see if that gets me around it.

I just tried to change the order of mods and it seemed to help, however even if it doesn't crash once, doesn't mean that when I run next time with the same mods in the same order it won't crash. Good thing is it only crashes when creating a new character, so once you manage to create it, there shouldn't be other problems.

I just figured out that u have to:

- first make a new Character if there is none yet. WIthout the Adventurer Mod.
- Now restart the game and activate the Adventurers Mod, also place it on top of all other Mods.
- Now i was able to create a new Character including the new Mod :)

Any update with It also crashes when starting a new game. If creation for this won't work can a follower or pet be useful instead?

Nothing new. Just the post above saying to create a normal character first.
There is a Fionna pet included in the mod.

Still get random crashes when clicking new game. Often its the first click of new game, but sometimes you can click 10-15 times between new game/back before it crashes. I tried isolating it from Essentials and Synergies mods, and its definitely this mod crashing the game.

yeah so i tried taunu's fix and i still couldnt get it to work, any other advice you can give me?

The mod worked fine like a year ago but now it crashes for me too(
