i mean..i might as well start this discussion off.

Target Doesn't Scream When Back Stabbed
Target Instantly Dissolves Into Ashes When Back Stabbed (Same Effect As Death By Phlog)
+25 Faster Swing Speed
-10% Damage
-25% Cloak Drain Rate

i never play the spy so i don't exactly know what to put here, plus its my first spy related stats discussion.

I was thinking something that rewards players for more backstabs

+every backstab makes the backstab hitbox larger by 10%
+50% faster swing speed
-no damage on non-backstab
-backstab hitbox is 10% smaller

When weapon is active

set on fire deals 1 damage a second after switched from lasts 0.5 seconds

that's is way too complicated. A weapon doesn't need a paragraph of text to be unique

+Silent Killer
Target is disintegrated on death
- 0.5 seconds longer visible when bumped
+ 10% more movement speed when cloaked
- 0.5 seconds longer to disguise

no, backstatabs dont use any hitbox, is based on angles, and with this stats if you get enough backstatbs you could literaly backstab everyone in the face

nice, one but the speed bonus while cloaked is op when combined with a faster cloak and uncloak, so

-10% movement speed while cloacked

this make an more righ risk/reward play style you can get out of clock faster but you cant scape so fast

+Get laser charge from landing backstabs (1 backstab = 3 Laser charge stabs)
+Laser charge causes regular stabs to deal 5% Increased damage and 5% increased swing rate
-Cannot regular stab without Laser charges
-Laser charges go away after 5 seconds

Has a charge similar to the Spy-cicle. Range increases at full charge, maybe +33% like the Demo swords, BUT, charge is lost when you backstab, decreasing range by maybe -20%. It will help Spy get that key pick, but doesn't do very good at chain stabbing.

I really love the idea of this item! Lots of great ideas for weapon attributes but I have a few ideas of my own i'd like to share and i feel they fit the theme of this weapon quite well! :)

+Silent Killer (no scream upon death, kill does not show in kill feed)
+Dead bodies turn to ash (same as phlog)
+has a HEAT counter, each stab adds 1 to the counter. These are utilized for melee, while you have a HEAT charge any non backstab melee hit will cause fire damage and after burn. All HEAT is lost upon death. (treated similarly to the crits on a frontier justice)
+While HEAT charges are stored take 10% less afterburn damage (this will not stack)

-Base health is set to 115
-Minus 33.3% ammo capacity on primary
-Weapon has a flame like particle effect while heat is stored (this effect is visible on weapon of enemy you are disguised as)

My idea with this weapon is a high risk high reward scenario. If you can get backstabs this will make you very useful on a team as youll be able to back stab a few enemies without notice because of silent killer then start burning enemies which will cause them to focus on you and not your team. This idea is a little less polished than some of my others but i think its really unique and would be super fun to pub with, maybe even give pyros a taste of their own medicine as a spy :):spycon:
