not sure if a bug or outdated mod, but turning this on prevents the Social Democracy tree for Communist China from having election events (thats been added since a patch in April, can't remember which exactly)

Greetings, I'm writing to inform you that I've noticed something odd. Whenever I play the United States with this mod, the game always seems to have this habit of crashing in the early hours of December 25th of 1936. I've taken a look to see whether this had to do with other mods being used or that this was because I was stating places like Hawaii or Alaska and nothing of the sort seemed to be the cause. I've tried other nations and they get passed the 25th just fine with the event following after too like Germany and the USSR.

I hope this little drop of information helps since I thought it was worth bringing it up to you considering how many times I've tried and tested this odd crash.

@somepole2004, will take a look at it! Might be related to our annual beach episode event. Are you running any other mods hy the way?

@Starguard, sorry for the late reply, I was asleep. In terms of the other mods, I did run a test run as said before to see if the game still crashes with only this mod on and it still does. I even tried it again with other nations.

@somepole2004, so we did some testing over the past few days and the United States seems to be fine on our end. Maybe you could try either verifying integrity of the game files or reinstall all mods you have:

1. Put all your mods into a private collection. This will allow you to unsub and resub at once, saving a lot of time and making life easier.
2. Unsub all mods.
3. Delete what is written in /Documents/Paradox Interactive/Hearts of Iron IV/mods_registry.json. No need to delete the file itself and I suggest you don't since I tried it, followed by me verifying integrity of the files and not getting it back.
4. Delete all ugc files of the mods you are not working on. This is the culprit of the problem, in that they remain despite the mod itself being wiped out in the uninstalling of the mods. Location of the ugcs are in /Documents/Paradox Interactive/Hearts of Iron IV/mod.
5. Reinstall/resub all mods.

Tl;dr: Make a collection, unsub all mods, delete what is written in mods_registry.json, delete the remaining ugc files of mods not being worked on by you, and then reinstall all mods.

there is a bug with this mod and the colored events mod for this mod where Erika's portrait is Hitler and not her, as well as at least a couple generals for Germany
