Don't talk to people into villages. Just take a look on the map's corner, you'll see bonfire and the blacksmith are there.
They ask you something (for me that was: bread, fruits, olives, dattes, and don't remember the last one sry).
After giving them what they ask, they'll send 8 ores to Shariz's weaponsmith. When done, go and talk to him, wait 11 days and you'll get the sword.
