The game no longer checks for the presence of specific writing utensils in your inventory. They've added a "Tags" attribute to all items, and an item is considered a writing utensil if it has the Tag "Write" assigned to it.

So just add "Tags=Write," to each item in your scripts txt files, delete your media/lua folder, and then you should be good to go forever.
