Well I do not speak baguette, but I do think that aliens would've been playable if the mod would be developed further.

Playable Xenomorphs would be awesome.

A few good rules to think about though: Only Queen can do research and of course that research have to be totally different than the normal research.

Example Queen can either chose production (Egg laying)

OR

Researching and that research could be about various forms for the xenomorphs to take after from their hosts etc. Like in Starcraft Zerg. They do evolutions

Nope, it was discussed and dismissed as a terrible idea, too difficult to implement well and the result would like be more incompatible with Other mods than Combat Extended
